I am in Year 13 and decided to enrol on the Art and Design Trades Academy course as I wanted to expand my learning. At the start of the year, I was a bit nervous about the thought of leaving school so by doing this course it has given me the confidence to be more independent, and I have had heaps of fun as well.

On completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of methods and ideas from established practice appropriate to design.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of methods and ideas from established practice appropriate to printmaking. 
  • Use drawing to demonstrate understanding of conventions appropriate to printmaking.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of methods and ideas from established practice appropriate to photography.
  • Use drawing to demonstrate understanding of conventions appropriate to photography.

This course offers Achievement Standards, please check with your Trades Coordinator to see if any standards cross over with Art/Design subjects you take at school.
