A clear path to employment

‘Vocational pathways’ make sure that you get the right skills – because the pathways are developed in partnership by government, schools, industry, trainers and employers.

Through these pathways, students get the foundation skills and knowledge that employers value, by achieving credits in their chosen vocational pathway.

Which pathway suits you best?

To help you choose your pathway, check out these resources – they’re written with you in mind:

Occupation Outlook has education, employment and income information on 60 key occupations in New Zealand. It’ll give you a clearer picture of possible career paths.

The profile builder on the Youth Guarantee website helps you choose your study. You’ll also find lots of other helpful information on their website.

CareersNZ has all sorts of useful information and tools for planning your career.

Once you’ve had a look, come back and see how we can get you started.
