Taj Kibeiks
Like many students Taj isn’t 100% sure what he wants to do after he leaves school, so he thought he would enrol in the Uniformed Services course to widen his knowledge and gain new skills. After this experience, Taj is now looking at joining a government service in the future – maybe the Police or Fire Service, or the Armed Forces.
Taj particularly enjoyed the practical activities of the Uniformed Services programme and the opportunity to meet the professionals working in this industry. “You could see how much pride they have in their work. They were so professional, but easy to connect with. My highlights were learning new maritime skills, including safety procedures on board ship; as well as the practical fire and police activities.”
Following on from this experience Taj is also about to complete work experience with a local Fire Service, which he is really looking forward to.
