Friends who had already done the Beauty Trades Academy highly recommended it as it is a good course and very practical. We were both interested in learning more about the Beauty industry and based on our friend’s recommendation we decided to enrol on the course.
Tarlia the tutor is relatable, friendly, and very supportive. She has good industry knowledge and is able to pass that onto us. She is also very patient with us as we learn and always there to help. Initially the theory was challenging to learn, but we have been given heaps of time to allow us to understand it. For both of us Tarlia has been key to our enjoyment of the course and all the skills and theory we have learnt.
We would both recommend others to do Trades Academy. The Beauty Trades Academy gives you a broad perspective on the Beauty industry and you develop skills for yourself. The course provides good industry knowledge and what it would be like to work in a salon. We have found catching up on work missed from school easy as we are given a timetabled study at school to catch up on any schoolwork we miss due to Trades Academy.
I am going to return to school to complete Year 13, then I might enrol to NMIT to study Beauty (Meadow). I am also going to return to school to complete Year 13 and then I might look at Marine Engineering (super yachts) or train to be a lash technician (Maggie).
