Esafe didn’t know what to expect when he first enrolled for the Adventure Leadership programme, but he’s really glad he decided to give it a go. “Lots of things on the course were new to me. At first I was nervous but I’ve learnt heaps.”
“I didn’t have much outdoors experience, but now I’ve been camping for the first time.” Esafe says the tutors were very kind and made everyone feel at ease. “We could all be ourselves around them.”
For Esafe highlights of the programme have been swimming in waterfalls and just being in the outdoors trying new opportunities. He would like to join the police force in the future and the skills and experiences he’s gaining now will be very valuable.
