Dremaine enrolled in the Building programme because he wants to develop his skills and pursue a career as a carpenter in the future.
“I’m a practical person and enjoy making things. The tutor, Richard, shows us what skills we need to have to work in the industry, as well as explaining about the health & safety side of things. He’s really calm and approachable and checks that we understand what he’s talking about”.
Dremaine also enjoys the freedom of going into NMIT, which is really different from being at school. So far, Dremaine would rate his Trades Building courses as 10 out of 10!
