Chrystal said she would not have gone to NMIT to do hairdressing if it wasn’t for the Trades Academy Hairdressing course.
“When you go to Trades Academy you can have a try of a course and if you like it you can stay, but if you don’t you can try something else. This is all about learning about something you like.” Chrystal said she gained some credits and ticked off some assignments while attending the Trades Academy course and it carried over to the NMIT fulltime Hairdressing course.
“I think my tutor is awesome and she is really relaxed but she is on our case to keep us focused so we can succeed.
There are 10 students in my class and out of that there are 5 who all did Trades Academy and we loved it! Now we are all here at NMIT studying Hairdressing fulltime.”
